I applaud and admire the dedication, courage, and passion of our local green activists. It is critical, CRITICAL for us to press this issue 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

As your Mayor, I will take this issue to our local legislators and work with them to create new energy solutions, local green jobs training programs and pathways out of poverty for all our citizens living in the shadow of industrial hegemony.

For the planet, for the citizens of Earth, for the creatures in our oceans, in our forests, and for every inter-connected particle on this incredible planet, I urge you to stand with me and say "Enough!" to the special interests who destroy our very lives for the benefit of the bottom line.

Enough! to the corrupt politicians who control our waterways, our streets, but who deserve no dominion over the air we breath.

Enough! to the destruction. Enough! to the broken promises.

 Enough is Enough.
